His school goes all the way up to 8th grade and some 8th grader told my little bro(who is in the 3rd grade) that santa isnt real. They said ho could reindeer fly at speeds of more than 3000mph when they dont even have wings and how could toys for the whole world fit in a sleigh that is the size of a car. He thought about it and realized that they were right. So now every day he goes in his room and cries until his head hurts, does his homework and goes to sleep. My parents are away for for a week and im in charge of him. I dont know what to do. I mean hes my little bro and i cant stand to see him like that. What should i do?

shawn c thats a great idea but if you write i cant stop by this christmas then that wont solve anything because when he goes back to school the other kids will talk about what they got from santa. He wont say anything but will feel bad again because santa stopped by other kids house but he was too busy to stop by his house. And he already knows that santa used to deliver to kids around one neighborhood but he thinks that he still does it and goes around the whole world now. He thinks that santa has been living for hundreds of years and has never died. Youd have to know him to understand what i mean

Tell your little brother that Santa has magic dust that makes the reindeer fly and a magic bag that can hold all kinds of gifts. The older kids must have been bad too many times that Santa doesn't go to their house anymore and makes them not believe. What really makes Santa real for us is in our hearts and by believing makes the magic happen. Tell him not to listen to those kids and as long as he believes then Santa will be real for him too.

Tell him that Santa is too real. Ask him what he believes in his own heart. How does that 8th Grader know so much? Has he NOT seen Reindeer fly? Why are they fed "magical" food then,if they do NOT fly? He probably got coal in his stocking if anything at all and that is why that 8th grader is being so mean. I wish I was there and could "talk" to the 8th grader face to face, then he would BELIEVE in something for sure. Ask your brother to watch Polar Express and see for himself how big the bag is that Santa takes on the sleigh,it is NOT the size of a car, gesh that 8th grader is all messed up. He is just being a bully and needs his "attitude fixed" by a Senior Citizen LOL......Who made the 8th grader an "authority" on how fast a sleigh can fly and how many gifts can be put in Santa's toy bag? I am upset and I don't even know you nor your little Brother, but I do have a Grandson and this pulls at my heartstrings something fierce,I am sorry such a idiot did this to your Little Brother, but tell him to watch Polar Express,it is on tv this week on ABC or at least BEFORE Christmas again and then let him come to his on decisions on Santa. Merry Christmas and I still BELIEVE and I am 53 yrs old.

Well... tell him that Santa isn't real figuratively. What Santa basically is is a symbol of kindness and love of the Christmas season. Reassure him that he will still get his presents and if you are Christian, this might be a good time to tell him about the birth or Jesus, etc. And, if it's possible, get a call into your folks and have them talk to him. Good luck!

You don't need to keep up the facade. Just tell him that it's true, that Santa is a real because he's a symbol of how much his family loves him. Tell him that the reason he gets so many presents each year is because of his families love for him. If he happens to not get so many gifts then tell him that ..... oh heck this is about the time he should know the truth anyway.

this is the BEST WAY (for right now) i did this with my little cousin... write a letter (from santa) telling him that he knows what (those boys) said, and he is in fact real. He is very busy so he doesnt have the time to stop and say hello on christmas. and also tell him that Santa is very Great...he has the power to make a big boat fit in a tiny car. Tell him its Magical....after u write the letter....Lable it From: S.C To: (ur brothers name)...walk in his room looking a little confused and say "hey (your bros name), someone named S.C left u a letter...(still looking confused) and give it to him....and let him read it...make sure the handwriting does NOT look like urs...becreative...and tell him that the raindeer or magical raindeer...

you should spend time with him and act santa is real and i think he'll be a little bit happy.and tell your brother the'' people who told you that santa is not real,it not ture because santa didn't give them present because they were bad ,so they'll tell other people to make them mad too so they will be sad like you ''.and you'll do the rest ok.bye

Teach him the history of Santa Claus:

And let him know that it is a wonderful tradition of gift-giving among family and friends.
