home cooked meal by mom?? go for it. you never know when the time will come when your mom is no longer there to cook and decorate for the holidays....most importantly, she wants you there. all of our time is valuable, and she's wanting to share some of hers with you.

Sounds like you have a nice mom, you should go over and see how she decorated the house. But if you are really busy, then just say no. ♥

Yes you should. You get a chance to have a nice meal, enjoy your mom and look at her decorations. So what is wrong with that? You must not be that busy if you have time to go to a web site you have time to spend with your mom.Nothing takes the place of your family.

You should go. Someday, your Mom will no longer be living, and you will think back to the times like these.
People don't realize just how important loved ones are until it's too late. It's your Mom. She asked. Go.

You should. Just think how bad you would feel if something bad happened to your mother and you didn't take those couple of hours to spend with her. Give her a specific time you'll get there and a specific time you have to leave but do make the effort. She'll appreciate it.

Of course you should go... It's your Mom, go and have a nice dinner, let her show off the house, and ask her if she needs you to do any thing for her...

What are you doing that is so important that you can't take a night off to spend some time with your mom? It sounds to me like you should go.

it depends on how often you see your mother...if you haven't seen her for a while you should stop by. mom is obviously reaching out to you..but if you see her lots than you don't have to be pressured to stop by whenever SHE wants..but you should make some time for her eventually as she won't always be around and you don't want to regret the 1/2 hour you coulda spent with her.
