Brake lights are stuck on, won't shut off....... I got under the dashboard and looked under the brake pedal, nothing! I'm a chick and don't know too much about cars but have no money for a mechanic :( I unplugged the battery so it doesn't die but just need to find out where the switch is. Thanks :)

Its on the brake pedal but it should be almost at the top of arm that holds the pedal. you have to lay on your back and put your head under the dash to see it. And it might not be the switch. On most cars there is a small piece of plastic attached to the pedal arm that depresses the switch and over time tends to break off.

the switch is located at the top of the brake pedal lever. you will have to kinda get on you're back with a flash light to see it, it is toward the top. the way that you are describing the problem indicates to me that the switch may have fallen off from it'
mounting and may just be dangling being held up by only the wires.
