I'm playing in a 12 team 9 cat roto league, currently in 3rd place. Will Pau help me when he gets back. I ve played the first quarter of the season with injuries is it possible for me to excel as the season goes on because i have a good 2 or 3 players underachieving from what was expected this season. I think i need 1 good 6+ assists pg to be a good contender.
Well here is my roster
PG Gilbert Arenas
SG Ray Allen
G Jameer Nelson
SF Josh Howard
PF Elton Brand
F Sean May
C Samuel Dalembert
C Chris Wilcox
Util Rafer Alston
Util Mo Williams
Bench Pau Gasol, Andrea Bargnani, Luther Head

i traded for arenas but im not willing to get rid out wilcox for now as he doesnt really hurt me and im expecting him to play like he did 2nd half last season he just needs more touches. I actually like bargnani because 3s 1 block 10+ ppg and will probably average a bit more later on in the season. but yeah i am trying to get a 6+ assist guy but no1 is interested in my players or lowball me like mad. Also 4 of the cats r really tight right now and when my players come back from injury i think ill excel in a lot of the cats and improve on some of my lower ones.

Honestly for a 12 team league, your roaster can be classfied as a very powerful lineup.
Some comments below:
1. Pau Gasol will be back soon, keep it. He will be estimated for his health this week. While he come back, his 20/10 stat will be a great help for your stat. Especially you are stay in a roto league.
2: Your position G and C are so excellent, i still can't believe how you can grab Arenas and Allen at the same time. It's too amazing.
3: If i am you, i will consider to trade out Chris Wilcox. His stat is not bad, but too unstable. For the roto league, you have limited game played for each position. Be aware.
Really curious how can you do this, how can you get Brand, Allen and Arenas at the same time.

It depends on the players of the other teams but your team looks pretty solid. Gasol's on his way back so if you've kept him this long, what's another few weeks?
Your team needs more assists and bulk upfront (blk + reb). Gasol will help that when he returns but I'd drop Bargnani for a better big man (unless you're in a keeper league)
Bargnani will have his up and down games but his strength is what? 3s. You already have plenty with Ray and Arenas. Trade or search the waiver wire for a more consistent AST man with Alston, Head, M. Williams.

I think so but it's not perfect. Try to get Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade and Alonzo Mourning. Kobe has a nearly perfect carrer Dwayne Wade is probably the best Veteran G and Mourning has an incredible number of blocks.
