Hi there, depends on how much you can afford really but my hubby got me vouchers to have a lovely day of pampering with my best friend and also arranged for us 3 (me, hubby and baby) to have a photo portrait done. It was a lovely present and he is a great husband.
It sounds like you are too as you're actually thinking about her pressie rather than copping out with something rubbish!
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Women always like pretty things. Perfume, candles, jewellery are all nice things.

New baby in your house, tho. It would be especially thoughtful if you were to buy your wife a mothers' ring or necklace with baby's birthstone on it. You can get a calendar or coffee mug with baby's picture on it. A jeweller may have some suggestions. Also, speciality areas of nice stores.

I love the package deals... Go for the slippers, night gown, bubble bath, candles, and lotions.... Then a gift certificate to a spa or massage parlor. she will not complain. Are you planning on more kids? How about a mothers ring... or necklace that you can add to, if you plan on more kids. Put together some of your favorite pictures of the two of you and buy a frame. It's not too expensive, but is very meaningful... let me know if you need more... JJ

What about lingerie from Victoria Secret. If you cannot pick something out buy a gift certificate. Women like their partners to take the time and pick out a nice gift. Even if the lingerie is not garters and panty hose, you can get her some cute satin pajamas. Matter of fact I will provide a few links to give you ideas on specials they have this season.

My wife said that after your first pregnancy none of your clothes fit properly. It just isn't the same body. She said that new clothes would be the best bet, but, never buy it for her. Get her a gift certificate to a very nice fashion place. Lots of $'s. Of course I would at least attempt to buy something in her new size. JUST NOT A JOGGING SUIT!!!! That sends the wrong message!!!!

I know this is jewlery but it's a must have especially with a new soon around. Get her a bracelet with the birth stone of your son on it and have his name put on it. ANd in the back put your first letter of your name then a heart then her first letter in her name. She will cherish it forever and you might even get lucky, SO go for it and run to the jewerly store don't walk.

if you really want to treat her either get her a weekend break at a health spa with a friend of her choosing or you can get a babysitter and go with her. being a mother is hard work and there's nothing like a relaxing break to rid of all the stress. and you get to spend time together.
