Examples of what this one guy always repeat to me
Whenever I mention anything about Hollywood or the word Hollywood. HE ALWAYS Says you know why I hate Hollywood? and he goes on about it as if he never told me about it before!!
Or he would tell me other stuff like about his accident, or the worst thing he done over and over again as if he never told me! Even if I say oh yeah I remember. Man it's annoying! Even I don't do that! When I tell a true story I don't mention it again to the same person!
So why do some people do this?

All you have to do is say "yes you already told me that story". I forget that I have told people things till they say this, I'm not insulted I just don't repeat the story. Then I have completely forgotten to tell friends some other thing, and they ask why I didn't tell them. I am, in fact so bad, now I start with "Did I tell you...?"

I also agree with the add, and they obviously want you to act more surprised about there story, or they dont have any other stories to tell so they repeat the same one that is annoying my dear!!!!!!!!! Run away next time, theyll get the hint!

Maybe they're taking ADD medication. Or else they are introverted thinkers--they operate best when they have had a chance to think something through and have their thoughts pre-worked out--they just don't have a large enough repertoire of things to say to keep everyone entertained.

Get him a magazine subscription for Christmas. Like Time or Newsweek. Maybe he needs some education about current events.

Maybe they repeat the story because it has a lot of meaning to them. Trying to relive a pleasant memory.

because their life is not interesting enouph so they tell the same thing over and over and yeah it is annoying my grandmother does it but gotta love her
