I think the others are on the right track, but a little backward. When the poop is moving downward in the anal area, it causes pressure on the prostate, thus, stimulating the sexual urge. Chances are, this is what is getting you in the mood to masturbate, without realizing that soon you will need to poop.
In other words, the prostate is stimulated by the turd, you get hard and masturbate, then you feel the urge to poop!

Masturbation causes the prostate to contract. Pooping uses the sphincter muscles which are all local to the prostate. When you go poop, it passes the prostate, which causes anal stimulation. It's all connected.
