Yes he is. you dont win 196 games by accident. He just got a bad rap by ending up on the wrong end of two of the great John Elway's comebacks as catch of the Browns and then was in the same division as Elway when he was coach of the cheifs.
Plus! The Chargers had the Ryan Leaf thing before he came and he cleaned up that team and situation!

He is a good regular season coach, but in the playoffs I wouldn't want him on my sidelines. His "Marty ball" has killed many a great football team. I like watching the Chargers and I hope for their sake he doesnt do it again.

Probably one of the best regular season coaches in the league, but like tony dungy, can't coach in the playoffs.

I think he's an OK coach. He's definately not the best. I still think he plays Martyball sometimes when it isn't needed. He's decent. I think he will do well with the Bolts for many years.

He is good but doesnt have anything to show for it..thats why they are doubting him. No superbowl ring and a bad playoff record but atleast he is able to make the playoffs.
