How can I get my Lexmark scanner to print in 4x6, where I set it, w/out printing 8x10s & off center of paper?

I'm wasting, not only paper, but also ink (very expensive and not refillable, which I think is totally idiotic!!), time and patience. It would be a lot cheaper to have the pictures sent to a company to do them for me, but I have my own way of doing them.

Yes, Apollo, I print stuff from my scanner every once in awhile. It's the 4x6 I can't get to work properly. It's not the moving of the paper that causes the problem. It's something else and that's what I'm trying to find out. Thanks, tho'.

print or scan? you can not print with your scanner ;)) anyway, move your paper to the right :-??
