Since my dog Sherly died my mom has really wanted a hedgehog so i was thinking about getting one for her for Christmas.

Just google "hedgehogs for sale."
There are so many sites. You'll have to pick one near where you live.

I have an African pygmy hedgehog.Which is smaller then regular hedgehogs. I got mine from under the pets and supplies part in the classifieds section of my local paper. They can be really sweat and there so much fun to play with. Check out www.animalsexotique.com

I don't recomend buying on, you are furthering the demand for them to be brought out of their natrual wild habitats. But what you could do is adopt one from a shelter. But avoid breeders and wild caught hedgehogs.

i would not get one unless you look up on how to care for one.
after you do some research, if you still want one, i would try, flea markets, pet shops or the paper.
i know that First Monday in Canton Texas(a flea market) has them for about
$20.

You'd be terrible to get a wild animal for a pet. I will tell you nothing abuot how to get a wild animal and make it miserable!shame!
