I'm not from an English speaking country and I don't celebrate Christmas. But since it's the polite thing to do, I'm sending my boyfriend's family (who are very christian and live in Canada) a Christmas card. But I'm stumped and I have no clue what to write :(
I've no clue what would typically go on a Christmas card. And I don't want something as simple as "Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!" I need something... more. Help?

Hi Kyra. How about:
Here's wishing you a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
I hope to meet you soon!
[I hope the above helps. It isn't sappy nor is it cold and formal--also a lot of Christians get ar*sed if you say anything but merry Christmas Happy Christmas (what I usually say or happy holidays is considered disrespectful to some "very Christian" people.]
Charles "That Cheeky Lad"
Happy Christmas one and all!

I agree with everyone keep it simple, try something like, Merry Christmas, remembering you and your family during this festive time of year.

Or try something like, Christmas is a time for counting ones blessings one and all....

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

You mentioned he and his family are very spiritual - maybe try - Have a Blessed and Wonderful Christmas - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Sending one card from the two one in all you means which you're a extreme couple. If he necessary convincing, then he in all probability would not see your dating as heavily as you do...yet. I by no skill did this the two till we've been engaged, even although we lived mutually for 3 years. I basically did not experience good with the insinuation that we've been a "kinfolk" while we've been residing mutually, not engaged or married. deliver the taking part in cards from your self in uncomplicated terms, and if he needs to deliver some, permit him. otherwise, do not rigidity the undertaking.

There is no "typical" thing to write on a Christmas card. Just be simple, sincere, and say what you want for them.

I like to put "May your days be merry and bright."

Nice sentiment - and a line from one of the most popular Christmas songs of all time.

I would say stick with something simple, like, Happy Holidays, or, best wishes for the new year! Hope to see you soon!
Or something like that.
