The ORIGINAL "Night of the Living Dead," no question.

As for "The House of Wax," the ORIGINAL was so brilliant that it had no need of being redone. Anything that gives Paris Hilton even one more second of exposure needs to be permanently destroyed.

Never seen House of Wax, but Saw 1, 2, and 3 are absolutely amazing.

The 2005 Remake of the House of Wax, teeny bopper flick with Paris Hilton is a total waste of time and brain cells. One of the worst movies ever made!!! I'm still hurling!!

Do yourself a huge favor and Rent the original 1953 version of the HOUSE OF WAX with Vincent Price. It's a classic and worth the drive to the video store.

Poltergeist scared the hell out of me the first half-dozen times I saw it, but like all the old, old classics before it, I've lost interest. The original House of Wax scared me so bad, I sat through it twice, because I was too scared to get out of my seat. (I was a teenager at the time) I refuse to see the new version. From what I hear, the only thing the two versions have in common is the title.

The all time scary movie is "THE RING."
I say this becuz it all fit togather. I can say the same for the the 2nd one thou. The ring two was cheap.
I don't like the house of wax becuz it was weird. It wasn't scary it was just......Theres no word.
The only part I liked was when he killed Paris. She's such a whore!

house of wax = the sux!

i would say its kind of a tie between 28 days later and the original dawn of the dead series, its hard to debate at whats more scary, infected people running at you,or being over runned by a bunch of walkers.

well that is my answer! I was about 10 and it scared me for many a night. Vincent Price was eerily good! Oh, and it was in 3D!

Psycho is right up there too, but my older sister ruined it by telling me the ending before I went to the movie.
