I know he chooses the secretaries, but are there any others? Like the CIA Director, Supreme Court Judges, a list would be nice.

All of them.

Members of the Cabinet serve at the President's discretion, after they have been confirmed by the Senate. So, too, does his personal staff (some, but not all, of whom need to have their appointments confirmed), undersecretaries, Ambassadors and other senior diplomatic staff.

Some senior officials are selected by the President for fixed terms. Their terms continue even if the Administration changes. These include: Federal Reserve Board members, the Joint Chiefs of Staff (including the Chairman and Vice Chairman) and the Surgeon General, the Librarian of Congress, and a number of other officials.

Supreme Court justices and other federal judges are appointed permanently, and much be confirmed by the Senate.

This isn't a complete list, but those are the 3 basic types of appointments the President makes.

Traditionally, the most powerful and relevant Cabinet members are the Secretary of State, the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Defense, and the Attorney General. The CIA and FBI directors are not cabinet members. the President appoints Federal judges and U.S. Supreme Court Judges, but they also are not Cabinet members.
