Think about a personal experience you've had and then reflect on it...In other words tell what you thought at the time and what that personal experience meant to you. How it changed you for later in life...What do you do differently not because of the experience?

A reflection means that you are looking at something from hindsight. You are looking back upon an experience and describing how it impacted you, others, or society. Ideally, you learned from the experience and you can share your change in perspective in your essay.

Write about the experience, what you felt during the experience, what you learned from it, if it involved other people, what their reactions were to your actions during this experience.
Critically, the important bit is how you are going to use that experience to change yourself for the better (usually means how you are better going to interact, understand, manage both pourself and others).
