Would Jesus have bashed gays? Or wasn't he the one that hung out with all of societies outcasts?

No, Jesus wouldn't and didn't bash gays. They were around back then, just like they are around now, yet nothing is mentioned regarding them.

Here's some things to chew on though.

Jesus hung out with twelve other men, and no women except for Mary M, who idolized him but got nowhere.

Jesus taught his followers to greet their brothers with a kiss.

Could it be that he had a thing for the guys?

Based on his behavior, you might think so today.

Sincerely,

Chris

Assuming that this is a serious question, Jesus would never have bashed gays. He would love them as human beings, like he loves all human beings. As for the second part, there is a theory that he hung out with the outcasts because they are the people that needed him the most, not the ruling wealthy who oppressed the "little people" and treated them like outcasts to begin with. I believe Jesus sides with the underdogs.

Jesus would not have bashed gays. Yes He did hand out with social "misfits". Why do you bring this up? I don't understand...

He preferred the honest sinners to the ones that hid behind the pulpit..It's in the Book. Honesty and Love attracted him. He knew what was in peoples hearts and I guess he found the one's who honestly openly struggled with human conditions real...Big Love, Kevin

Jesus said we should love God and love each other, and treat others as we would wish to be treated.
I can't see where any bashing would come into that.

(I'm Jewish and even I know that.)

Our Lord would have stayed with those that sinned, for they needed his guidance and teachings. There is no sin in being homosexual. Christ did not shun anyone away and accepted all as his brothers and sisters equally.

He wouldn't have "bashed" them. He would have told them the truth and if they didn't change their ways, then He would have had nothing to do with them. That is what the Bible says to do.

He would love his neighbor... where did I read that again...? I don't know, some book... maybe you've heard of it... I know a lot of people read it, but then use its teachings to oppress others... what book is it?... Jeez, it's on the tip of my tongue...
