Anyways, I tried turning it on, but windows wouldn't loud. That part doesn't worry me right now. The part that worries be about is that..
I accidently went to the settings, and I put "First load CD-ROM" and now my computer doesn't even turn on. What can I do!? HELP!

I dont think what you did had anything to do with your problem, I would have to say if you aint hearin any noise that the tired old power supply took a dump! Some older systems had to be reset by unplugging the power cord and re inserting it. Hope that works for ya!

Restart your Operating System which is mostly Windows when the computer is starting to turn on and once you see the word "Del" hit it to go to the BIOS screen, then change your first boot drive into HDD, then see underneeth for the saving and quiting key which is usually F10 , the PC will reboot itself then it should Work.

press F8 repeatedly until you go to the boot screen after 5-7 seconds from the PC had reboot, and run windows in the safemode, try to give up from some rubbish by going to the start menu point to all programs then accessories then System tools then left click on disk cleanup, after it is done, try to checkdisk your computers from errors and make it as automaticaly fix errors then choose the defragment program to defrag your PC "make it faster" because you have an older CPU it might not take so long, I have 80GB of HDD and when I defrag my PC I've got to do it at night while I'm sleeping!
reboot your computer again and run it in the normal mode

Hope that was useful

well first I would check all the wires and what not make sure they are connected and connected right. Being a older computer I would advise not to run Windows on it. It probably wont load anyway look for a linux distro and use that...way better and free...

change it back to hard drive. that setting should have no effect on the booting of the computer. if the bios screen doesnt come back up, try taking out the small battery on the mother board for about 30 mins. but it back and try to boot. that should do it.

Go back into your bios and reset it to factory default.
