I want to find a place to download music legally but not have to pay for every song but just pay once a month or year. Anyone know?

You could try Rhapsody. However, it does not have every song like iTunes.

rhapsody.com is great they have lots of songs and are compatable with most mp3 players and media players and you get a free trial.
