If my answer is limited to internet places, then that would be in my group on sparkpeople.com, which is a support group for people wanting to lose weight and maintain that loss. It's free, and has everything a person could need to lose weight in a healthy manner, including recipes, exercises, and most importantly, groups you can join, with message boards and group activities. It's fun 'cause you find the group that fits your personality, or "thing" you're into. You can post messages, receive messages in you personal inbox, as well as on the message boards. The group I belong to are all ladies, and we encourage one another on a daily basis. We even have an ornament exchange, so that everyone involved will get something to remember their buddy. There's a whole list of emoticons you can use for your posts, plus you get points for each one posted. If anyone wants to join, and uses my name, I get points for the referral! My user name here is the same as it is there, just in case anyone's interested. You don't have to join a group to be a member of the site, and, after you've been a member of the site for a while, you can form your own group. You can even style your own member page, using pictures from your computer or other areas. I use my avatar as my profile picture. I've found much joy and support in chatting with these gals, and look forward to the time I spend there. I like to post the lyrics to songs that I like, and many of the gals have written and said they look forward to them. It's almost as fun as meeting up with them all at a restaurant for a chat. Of course, my favorite place to chat is wherever my friends are, face to face. <*)))><

yahoo mesanger is ok, but i don't know alot of friends that have it, so i prefer myspaceIM.
