My response was just deleted. Is that a failure, or not?

Thomas Edison performed hundreds of "failed" experiments before developing a working model of the light bulb. It took hundreds more to have a marketable one.

Another bulb pioneer further refined Tom's bulb & began manufacture & marketing his own version. One of his bulbs still burns 100 years later in a California Fire Station. His company went bankrupt. Did he fail or not & how?

Failure is only a way of thinking or a state of mind. The only failure is either giving up or not learning from mistakes. It has nothing to do with the mistakes themselves. It is very subjective. Would giving up a line of research be a failure if continuing would insure my insanity? I think not. Was losing my answer a failure or an opportunity to do it better? You decide.

Lack of love.

When you are on your deathbed, you don't worry about not making it at work, in the stock market, or having the most money in the bank. It's love that sustains, and when you feel it you feel blessed and are happy to return the feelings.

GOD bless.
