I took the bottom off my laptop to check it out , reseated the ram and cleaned the fans. Everything looks ok under there. I put it all back together again and now...

when I turn it on, it powers up but the screen is black and the fans come on, then they turn off, then they come on again, and then my laptop shuts off.

What the heck is goin on? Anyone have any ideas (other than getting someone else to do it)?

in the experience that your computers fan is purely too loud that your laptop is over heating. you could not turn off the fan, reason your laptop gets rather warm, and crash and wont activate ever returned, until you prefer to spend 2 hundred+ on a clean motherboard on your laptop and installation. be sure you retain your laptop on a flat floor and open so the laptop can breath and suck the cool air in. It additionally helps to get a laptop stand, or a laptop cooling fan stand.

My PC did this recently, and it was the power source going out. Plus it was filthy inside.

Your laptop is possessed or it is rebelling against you. Put in the freezer and tell it you won't let it out until it behaves.
