I'm actually reading the book right now and I can't wait to take my son to see it. The previews look really good.

I can't wait! I've read the books and they're amazing! I don't know if the movies will be good, but I"m seeing them!

The books are really good. Though there are some similarities between them and Star Wars. I'm going to see the movie, but I'm dubious about it. Like why does Saphira look like she has feathers? And why does Eragon's gedwey ignaesia not look silver? How can he be called Argetlam (translated, Silver Palm) if the mark on his palm isn't silver?

It looks like it is going to be an excellent movie!! I love movies like that...Just by looking at the previews it looks very action packed and the effects looked awesome, but I'm sure once on the "big screen the magic will really come to life"

I just couldn't get into the books... they sounded like they were written by a middle-schooler with a really good vocabulary, and who ripped off several other authors.
But the movie might certainly be good... I'll probably wait for the DVD, though.
