AMD Sempron 3400 64 bit or AMD Athalon 64 3000. Which would be better?

I'm replacing my motherboard and CPU, and I can get a combo board and CPU of either of those processors for about the same price. Which would be the better bet?

i would say the 3000 .. if they are both the same socket ... the 64s have more on board cache memory and are better performers .. if your could go with a x2 proc the dual core they are WAY better ..
