I did that same thing before, it hurts like crazy. You should go to the doc and get them to give you some muscle relaxers for it, otherwise...you'll just have to ride it out!

I hope you feel better!

This happened to somebody I know.

Take a hot shower. (helps a lot)
Make an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can.
Until you go to your appointment, lay down and relax with the heating pad on your neck.

The pain may take up to a week to go away, but it does not seem serious.

Have someone massage that area. Then try heating pads again! If it doesnt move tomorrow i suggest making an appointment with a chiropracter(sp??)

LOL...I got this sometimes..and you wanna know why you got it too? Because you didn;t warm up your muscles properly before strecthing. The theory goes...warm up...stretch...train... In that order. ;) Can you imagine trying to stretch cold mozzarella? It'll break. Now warm it up and see the bugger stretch a mile.

I used to get this alot when I was in my middle teens. The only thing you can do is wait and slowly(I know painful!) move your head.

Jerk around rapidly until your head snaps off. No more pain.
