Lots of reasons really, he ran an effective campaign, dirty but effective. He down played his service and attacked a man that actually served and did go to war. People bought that he was a moral person and a born again Christian, and stuff that goes with that. He played up that he was a war time president and forgot to mention that he started the war. I could go on and on the evil this man is but bottom line he cheated, or rather the right wing, nuts that actually believed in him did. But talk about dead people voting, some of the people that voted for him never even existed. In answer to your question, John Kerry was made out to be a poor candidate for president but I don't think there is any way possible that it could be any worse then it is right now in America.

Haven't you seen one of your nation's own magazines? http://www.plasticbag.org/archives/2004/11/how_can_59054087_people_be_so_dumb/

That's how. And that's the only reason why.
