don't get false nails, look after your own nails by cleaning them regularly and using a good nail oil, which you can get in Superdrug or Boots etc and a nice hand cream. Every now and again treat yourself to a good cream and sit with it on whilst wearing soft gloves, it works wonders. Splitting anf flaky nails can be caused by them being too dry so an oil rubbed in at night before bed will really help.

Go have a hot oil manicure and have them regularly and ask for a paraffin wax treatment this is nourishing and feels great, use hand cream daily, wear gloves when you are out as the cold is really bad for you hands and use a base coat for dry brittle nails before you use varnish also as others have said don't use false nails very bad

pure almond oil rubbed in ... just a spot on each nail and worked into the cuticle area. Hard as nails is good clear protector and remember to varnish under the tip as well that will seal it.

Use a mix of vaseline + lotion on your nail and the skin around it, whenever they feel dry. Use a humidifier in your room to help with the dry air. Wear gloves or mittens when going outside.
