I think God cares.....about his creation. I think he loves his children as we love our children, only more perfectly. I don't think He cares about sex practices. I think he cares about how we practice loving our brothers and sisters.

here's what the bible says...
Most people, even priests and scholars, are unaware that the passages about homosexuality have been either misinterpreted or misunderstood.
The story of Sodom and Gomorrah? That's a warning against rape and inhospitality. The reason for Sodom's destruction is made clear in Ezekiel 16:48-50. According to Ezekiel, the sins of Sodom were pride, laziness, being inhospitable, neglecting the needs of the poor, greed, and idolatry (the worshipping of idols). Nothing about homosexuality is mentioned.
Leviticus? Those passages were part of the Holiness Code which has been done away with and is no longer binding to modern-day Christians.
1 Corinthians? Mistranslation - the word malakee in this passage is used elsewhere in the Bible to mean someone who lacks discipline or one who is morally weak, and never is it used in reference to sexuality or gender.
1 Timothy? Also a mistranslation. 1 Timothy was an admonishment against male prostitution, not committed, loving same sex relationships.
Romans? In the passage the Greek words physin and paraphysin have been translated to mean natural and unnatural respectively. Contrary to popular belief, the word paraphysin does not mean "to go against the laws of nature", but rather implies action which is uncharacteristic for that particular person. An example of the word paraphysin is used in Romans 11:24, where God acts in an uncharacteristic (paraphysin) way to accept the Gentiles. When the scripture is understood correctly, it seems to imply that it would be unnatural for a homosexual to live as a heterosexual and vice versa.

I don't think it's a sin. I would care if I thought it was, but I don't care what anyone else thinks.
I've spent a lot of time formulating my own thoughts and beliefs on right and wrong, and read a lot of books from many different religions, and I am happy that I have found a moral code I can live by.
I believe in and trust in God, I believe He loves me and created me, and I firmly believe that He has much more important things to worry about than who I sleep with.
I believe in doing good to others, trying to do no harm in the world, and questioning my own conscience and using the mind God gave me to work out answers when things don't seem clear.
I can't see how my being gay can possibly cause any harm, and I couldn't do anything about it anyway, so I truly believe it can't be any sort of sin.

I believe that is a sin, but all sins are forgiven. I believe that most people take the bible and pick and choose what they want 2 obey. God forgives all sins.. if not all these people having sex out of marriage are on their way 2 hell as well, but the truth is that everyone thinks that is okay, but they condemn gays to hell. Homosexuals can get into heaven just like anyone else.

Homosexuals have been around longer than most religions. Is it wrong? It depends on who you are talking too. I personnaly don't think that it is wrong for a person to be who they are, as long as it doesn't infringe on the happiness of another person.
I have a cousin that is gay, I knew a few gays/lesbians while I was in the Navy for 20 years, and I have met quite a few since I retired. I have been to gay bars, with my wife and some other friends, and have even gone to gay after hour parties and have never been raped or encouraged to become a gay man.
I think that the religious leaders want to scare their followers into believing that if they become gay then they will go to hell. This is a control thing for them and a way for them to guarentee income.
GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, and Transgendered) people are just like you and I. They eat the same foods, drive on the same roads, defend the same country, laugh, cry and die just the same as you and I.
The people that are against them are probably afraid of their own sexual orientation or the victim of the controlling religious leaders who want to control the world through fear.
We need to all get along.

I don't believe God views gays and lesbians as sinners, since more and more research says they are born that way, and the bible says mankind is created in Gods image. Also, some religious philosophers believe that infamous quotes from the bible that condemn hmosexuals are not in fact referring to gays and lesbians. For example, the famous quote about "thou shall not lie with a man as thou lies with a woman" (or whatever I can't remember it exactly) is referring to straight people succumbing to lust and having sex with anyone they can, in this case the sin is lust, not homosexuality. Other examples exist all over the place. But that's just my opinion and, as they say, even the devil can quote scripture to support his cause.

that's the single subject the place Christians and non-Christians won't in any respect agree. Christians element to Bible verses which they declare oppose it (or, greater bizarrely, blame the devil which somebody in this internet site has accomplished) and non-Christians seem to technology, psychological wellbeing experts, and what homosexuals themselves could desire to declare...in spite of each little thing, the guy you recognize the superb is your self. in my opinion i think of that Christianity is capturing itself in the foot by employing being so rigidly bigoted on the subject. It substitute into shown a protracted time in the past that a guy or woman's sexuality isn't chosen, and you could no longer anticipate such greater than a number of folk to stay sexless, loveless lives. completely unrealistic no be counted the kind you slice it.

IF there really is a God, and IF this God doesn't want or like homosexuality, then he wouldn't have allowed it to be invented in the first place.
personally, we are all here as human beings on this earth, and we all should try our best to get along. we all have different views and different believes..
personally, it's not my job to judge others based on sexual prefernece. my goal it to be open-minded and accept everyone.
personally, i could care a less about SINNING as i don't believe such a thing really exists..

I think it is a humans destruction of themselves, however, it is a sin. Man and man cannot bring forth offspring, so if everyone become gay & leasbians then humans will extinct, leaving the planet earth with no inhabitants.
