I work in call center and the employees each have their own cubicle, any way I have been sick for a while now with a bad cough, but missing work is not option, because of the kind of system we are on.(a point system, after 10 points you are let go, no questins asked) I am at 9! After the 1st of January I go down to 2. Back on track... There is this guy who has been staring at me and standing over me and generally making me uncomfortable and he was sitting kinda next to me, so I moved to the other side of the cubicle wall and he sat in front of me!! He was not bothering me so I let it go. Then last night as I was just about to get off work I started coughing(and bad) He stands up says, "I am trying to help customers" the conotation being for me to quit. This infurated me to the point I really wanted tell him to kiss my a**. I didn't do this but have been mad ever since. Did he have a right to do this and I am I being to sensitive or did he really cross the line? What would you do?

It doesn't sound sexual, but there is definitely some intimidation going on. Talk to your supervisor.

What about that did you interpret as sexual. He sounds like a jerk, but pulling the "sexual harassment" card just because he made you mad is way out of line. Try being a grown up and just live with the fact that some people will make you angry sometimes, and go on about your business (which sounds like you have a hard enough time handling as it is...9 points).

no this isn't sexual harrassment. It just sounds like he was stressed out and wanted you to get a cough drop or something. Then again some people are just jerks. Don't take it personal and get on with your life.

Yes tell your husband and supervisor. This is completely inappropriate and needs to deal with immediately. I dont see why one or the other of you can't be moved to a different cubical at the very least.
