i dont even think there is an average...ive got 3 and they are 15, 13 and 11, so quite equally spaced out...2 years... but a friend of mine has 10, 6 and is still trying for a 3rd, so i think if you just keep to the most fertile times of the month, and just keep trying then it should happen sooner rather that later
good luck

Most women do get pregnant easily after a recent pregnancy. It really does depend on if your are ovulating on a regular basis. But even for women that are healthy and actively trying it can a while. It could happen a month after for some women or even years for others. If you try for a year in your 20's, 6 months in your 30's and you have not been successful I would see your Doctor. If you just had your second child with in the last six months I would give your body some time to get back to normal.

it varies too much to even think about, let alone worry about. just keep enjoying yourselves without worrying and it will happen quicker than you think!
