As u may know there are lots of parameters contribute to poverty and we can see lots of people and organizations which are trying to diminish or wipe the poverty out of the world.
Can these efforts be useful or they are idle and wasting time?

The efforts can be very useful. However, poverty is relative to the general standard of living, so there will always be relative poverty. As Jesus said, "the poor you always have with you".

The method to eliminate poverty is simple. The implementation is almost impossible.

1. Rule of Law
2. Enforceable Private Property Rights - One of these days people might figure out how important private property rights are to eliminating poverty, but I doubt it. The people who make the loudest claims about eliminating poverty are the ones who understand this the least.

Depends of the definition of poverty. In different areas poverty is different things. People with or without things of this world is the difference. I'd rather have a God that has promissed me eternal life than live a short life on this earth. We are here for a reason. One is to prepare us for the kingdom of heaven, next to God and his son Jesus Christ.

Of coarse they aren't a wast of time . We cannot wipe out poverty but it never hurts to try and help

It is impossible to have a poverty free world unfortunately. There will always be those that have and those that do not. For one person to benefit the other person has to give up something.
