when I start up window xp. norton internnet security 2006 auto pop up with computer start everytime, how to unselect norton internnet security 2006.

Start-run-type in msconfig into the box. Then click startup tab-look for norton, uncheck it,click apply, then ok- then restart your computer..

Do you mean it starts to scan? You want it to start up to protect your computer. Just not start. Go into your Norton setting and find where it is set to scan each time it starts. Modify when you want it to scan.

first you should open Norton and check to see if there is a place that says srat when computer boots up.
Also check in your Start Up folder, if it is in there, it will start when the computer starts
