His backup, Jim Sorgi, has done well when he has played. Nevertheless, if Peyton went down, it would be a huge loss. All the offense is built around Peyton.
Of course, based on the Colts-Jaguars game that just ended, maybe we should be more concerned about our defense.

Absolutely devastating. Sorgi is horrible, well he could be great but he never sees any practice/playing time with the first stringers. Peyton is most definently hall of fame worthy.
Is it peytons fault the the Colts cannot stop the run ever?

They would barely get by... a couple of games against anemic offenses here and there... Peyton is def. hall of fame worthy... or at least he will be by the time he's done...

lets just say indi would be getting the first draft pick....the only reason indi has done good the past few years is becuz of the high powered offense, fuled by peyton manning. Hav u watched indi's defense lately? they're horrible, and last in rush defense, the few good games the defense has is becuz they feed off the offense's momentum...

In a word.....VERY. Everyone has their up and down games but he's the one that makes this team do dangerous. I know teams aren't scared of the colts, but you gotta respect the speed and precision the offense runs with when they're clicking.

Very bad. They might not even make the playoffs even if it doesn't happen. Let alone if he gets hurt.
