I realize this is a sensitive subject but I'm only asking this because on all the shows you see about what might of gone wrong w/ the structure of the buildings that caused their collapse, they don't mention if there were sprinkler systems installed or if it would of made a difference if they were any.

I'm sure they had sprinklers but you can't put out a fuel fire that big with sprinklers. Fires like that need lots and lots of foam to extinguish them. It would be like a fine mist or light drizzle on a house fire. It would prevent the fire from spreading, but not put it out.

I am sure it did,by law buildings built after a certain time
are required to have them The world trade center was built
in 1972-1974.
Still the sprinkler system could not keep the towers from collapsing.

I'm guessing they did since it is the law. It's one of the code of regulations buildings have to abide by.

Plus all the pipes were instantly broken and no presure
