I am looking for somewhere that has pretty scenery, close to the moutains but not necessarily right beside them, not alot of people, good job availability, and a low cost of living.... Is there a place out there like this? If so please tell me because I am ready to get out of Ohio..

That does sound like a good combination... scenery, small community, low cost of living, good jobs.

Until you got to low cost of living you had many options. All the resort towns are beautiful, with jobs in hospitality and suprisingly good professional jobs if you can find them. It probably would still be working for the resort or other businesses, but towns are growing and to meet the needs of growing economies professionals are ususally needed, although not always highly paid. For some, the secret is opening their own business and if you can do it you might just make a bit more. The small towns are great for small businesses to get started.

But you did say low cost of living didn't you... hmmmmm perhaps you should look at Glenwood Springs Colorado or some of the other smaller towns. It used to be that Eagle or Gypsum were good small towns but with the growth of real estate development there (close to Vail and Beaver Creek) those prices have gone up too. But still worth checking out.

Perhaps you could think about whether the low cost of living is the most important, because if not it opens you up to so many other possibilities and lets face it, the cost of living is going up in these places because everyone wants to live there.... there is probably a reason for that.
