i have clamps on my tubes can they come off after so many years?

i was wondering because i thought some nurse said to me after 7 or eight years they can come off i just wanted to know if any one new the answer

Yes, ...they can...not often, but it does happen

they can come off but by then the tubes are sealed and you are still sterilized. on the other hand, no sterilization procedure is 100% effective and you can still get pregnant though the risk is small.
