You are connected to the access point, but the internet cannot be found?

I am using someone else's wireless internet. Where my apartment is, I can pickup a couple of the signals. The trouble I sometimes have is that I can pick up the router (is that what you call them?) signals but can't get the internet. Is there anyway to solve this? Is it because the signals are too weak or interference or what?

you probably need new firmware installed and the process for that would depend on your brand of router.

if you have linksys, then call the company.

If you don't have linksys, then you should.
