Is America doomed?

We have lost so many of our morals and values...we have gone nowhere but downhill...are we doomed?

America, as well as most all western civilization is being destroyed from within. Freedom is wonderful. Freedom given without having been earned is foolish. It allows anyone access to the inner workings of our society and therefore allows both constructive as well as destructive behavior unchecked.

Doomed alright (I say that in sadness rather than jubilience)

American defeat in the Iraq war just WIPED OUT American superpowerness. America have now become a laughingstock of the Arabs. What a shame, Iran and Syria are now to be called by President Bush to "help" in Iraq. It is a shame.

Let's not even talk about morals and values. (You know what I mean)

America is being beaten technologically and economically by China and India. It is so sad to see America, the Only Superpower, become delegated to third place.

So, I say my friend in sadness, that we are going nowhere other than downhill to our doom. *SOB*

Why sure, we're all doomed. We're slowly poisoning the oceans and land. We're producing atomic wastes without a suitable way of disposing or destroying them. We're depleting the resources of the earth.
It's only a matter of time. Not America - - - the world.

If we or any other society are going to survive, we have to keep pushing ourselves forward, telling us that we CAN make things better. As far as lowering morals, all I can notice is a mainstream decline in the popularity of religions. I'd say if we're letting gays do what they want and allowing interracial couplings, I'd say we're making some progress. :)

No. We may have hit rock bottom under the Bush Administration, but now that the Dems have taken the House and Senate, checks and balances have been restored. It will take awhile to dig ourselves out of the mudhole Bush got us into, but we will. (Unless Bush ignites Armageddon before 2008)
