No one likes to do presentations. Instead of trying to get out of it, and I would give you a F for Failure to complete, just do it.

If it is possible, I recommend doing a power point presentation on Microsoft Power Point. I always use it for my history and English projects. I love it because people focus on the screen instead of me. I don't know if it is possible in your classroom, but it works. I agree with the others, just DO IT! You need to do it, even if it IS late! At least you'll have like a C or B instead of an F for incomplete. No offense, but you are kind of being lazy. It might be scary (it is for me sometimes), but it only lasts for 2 or 3 minutes.

you can't get out of it.
sorry. your teacher will make you do it sooner or later.

i hated talking in front of the class when i had to do presentations in middle school [and i had braces]. a junior in high school, i still have to do presentations. though, i'm not nervous anymore. looking back, i think i was a fool for being nervous in front of the class.

just be confident! don't work yourself up over doing a presentation that lasts only a few minutes in front of the class. if you go up there with confidence and poise, and remember to stay relaxed, your presentation will go smoothly. if it helps, think you are just alone, practicing your presentation. and hey, if you make a little mistake in your presentation, no worries, correct yourself, don't panic, and go on.

doing presentations will help build your speaking skills in the real world, so just relax and be confident. you'll do just fine!!

Who doesn't hate it? I am a teacher and sometimes I hate it, but sometime you just have to suck up and deal-- all your friends probably feel the same way, so just be prepared and get it over with ASAP- that way the nervousness has less time to build and you can relax while everyone else is doing their presentations.

If you have a camcorder, do your presentation in private in front of the camera. It will help you get comfortable with public speaking. You will be surprised how composed you look after a little practice. You'll be fine.
