can i get a bigger power steering belt to cover the alternator. the pulleys does match up>can i ???

Please define what you believe to be a compressor--if you are referring to the air conditioner compressor --please consider that the car is 18 years old and normal wear and tear just says that you need to have the A/C pump re-placed --no you cannot get a bigger belt...do not try to change this as it won't work.... you can eliminate the A/C pump and get a belt that's smaller and that will work....you should talk to the parts dude at your local auto supply and you will get the correct info and parts from him___
