yes. believe it or not, volcanoes are just hot holes. like the one in yellow stone park, if that one were to blow, because it's a rift, it would disperse sulfur and carbon monoxide ash in the sky screwing over the whole world. in Indonesia, there are over 96 active volcanoes, but back to the one in yellow stone, that one explodes every 6,000,040 years,so no need to worry about it now. but that volcano is 10 times more powerful and than pom-pay, the catastrophes caused by this volcano in yellow stone would cause everything within 4,000 miles to be at least be covered in 5 feet of ash causing famine, massive death tolls, and no trade causing the whole world to be screwed. sucks, i know!
