They decided to remind you of the pain Izzie went through in returning to work and of the problems George had with Callie moving in and with a problem they have in how they view medicine. It comes in handy in dealing with the current situation concerning George's father and the way George is behaving towards Izzie and Callie.

Yes it was a re-run. It was the one where Izzy stood out Seattle Grace afraid to go in and when the foster child [girl] could not fell any pain.
I am hoping that next week there will be a new episode.
