I am considering to stop using this word. Even under playful circumstances. I have had to reeavaluate myself over the last 4 years and this is one of the changes that I am considering.
My girlfriend doesn't mind me using the word, or so she says. But I am beginning to think it falls under the same line as calling straight people, gay when they are not. Like being gay is an insult.
I would like to get a women's point of view on this. Sorry men.

well put yourself in her shoes. if she was the boyfriend and you were the girlfriend and she called you that would you like it? or would you be offended. first off do you know what it means. it means(if you dont know already) a four legged animal. a dog. a female dog. thats very disrespectful coming from a man. especially in the direction of a woman. she might be saying you can say it because she doesnt want to sound controlling but you never know. it could be hurting her on the inside. be careful how much you say it and who you say it to. even your girlfriend. she may not care now but it may build up inside of her and later on she is gonna blow up. you dont want that. just ask her to be honest with you. ask her if it offends her in anyway and if it does then you'll stop. good luck with that.

Why? Women refer to some guys as A**holes, or bastards. I think that it's not the nicest thing to call a girlfriend, but think it's kind of natural if you're referring to a nasty woman as a *****.
I also don't think being a little of a ***** sometimes is such a bad thing. Take it from someone who has been way too nice over the years and has become somewhat of a "walking doormat." I'm trying to develop my "inner *****"!

My girlfriends & I have a B Club.We have B T-shirts,meetings,and coffee clatches.When we see each other in public we call each other B.So I would say ,I wouldnt go around calling everyone thats a girl a B, but theres at least 5 of us do ,still after 30 years in the club!

I have a similar situation with my daughter's father. I think you are being smart to keep her away from him. He is obviously dangerous and it is your job (as I can tell you already know) to keep her safe. I would recommend consulting with an attorney (some offer a free consultation where you can get a little guidance) to see if going to court to get his visitation rights suspended or permanently revoked would be an advisable option.

Yes is so wrong... Your mom is a women? Do you will like if somebody call her the B word? I bet is yes so you should respecte womens the most don't matter who they are...Respect is always a good thing...I f you want respect so start respecting others don't matter sex...male or female right?

I personally think useing the b word for only back and forth witht the gal pals is ok. we seem to understand it's real meaning.
men do abuse it. they are cutting women down when they use it, their surely not complementing them.
