Liberals and Democrats like to keep people in the "victim role" to preserve the inequality that exists in the country to promote their own agenda
Conservatives and Republicans like to look beyond race and give every one an equal chance to succeed or fail, based solely upon one's character and work ethic

Liberals arent color blind cause their is more than one race and their is many injustice against people of certain races in this country. And ignoring them like conservatives like to do wont solve the problems. Look at the heck of a job Bush did with the Katrina Hurricane. If most of New Orleans were white i doubt they would have been ignored. Conservatives seems to be good at ignoring many things, like the problems in Iraq.

Although the vast majority of blacks are Democrat-the Republicans seem to be gaining their vote-we will see in the 08 elections. This is what minorities want. They want respect. Many do not like the NAACP and do not play the race card. Many are disgusted by Jackson and Sharpton. The Dems want the minorities to remain powerless and dependent on social programs to survive. The Reps want them to be like everyone else, work like everyone else, and get paid upon that work like everyone else.

I think I understand what you are saying, but where you see it as colorblind, or one human race, my perception is that conservatives see it as if everyone is on the same footing and starts from the same position, while liberals see it as not everyone starts from the same position, and independents vary depending on the topic.

I notice you said "talk". I have noticed that it seems to be all talk and NO ACTION on both sides. I consider myself to be an independent, I vote for someone that seams like they might actually do something. Strangely enough, most often I vote anti-incumbent.

Conservative are willing to except people as long as the look, believe, act, speak, and live their lives EXACTLY as they do.
They get offended by the notion that other cultures and ways of living even exist.
Liberals are more educated and worldly on issues of race, language, and culture. Only a fool would pretend that people's aren't different. Libs just celebrate it.
For Cons, it's "Our way or the highway". That's why they want English as an official language. Out of cultural fear. And are always complaining about cultural warfare.

Its in all likelihood slightly genetic, slightly social studying and that i think of alot environmental. Thats why rural factors tend to vote republican, because of the fact they very own land and properties and do back breaking artwork for their funds and prefer to maintain it. human beings in cities vote liberal because of the fact they dont very own land so dont could subject bearing directly to the taxes and so as that they see lots greater of the strife of the unfavorable and that's properly worth it to them to pay bigger taxes.

Yes. The root of this is that liberals are obsessed with guilt over the many years that minorities were mistreated.Conservatives are far more logically minded about this . They tend to think in terms of- I didn't do,we fixed it, leave me alone about it.

I think you mixed up a little bit.
Liberals see only one race, the human race. They see external differences, like color, sex, weight and others but they strive for equal opportunities as they believe in internal equality and the right for equality.
Conservatives see only one race, their own race. Other races are counted as minorities. Equal right for conservatives means to have equal rights to them but not to everybody.
Independents are cowards to express their own ideas and try to "steal" votes from every side by hiding their own real identity.

I agree 175%. I'm conservative. The only places I look at colors are traffic lights & Tae Kwon Do belts.
