I have been having some signs but not severe enough to worry me. I also was told that after the first child the baby doesnt drop until you are about to go into labor. I know my cervix has softened as of last weeks check up. Anyone know, should I even think that hes coming earlier then my last pregnancies?

I had 3 babies too and even though my my first baby was late my second and third were born when they were due. It's possible that you could dilate earlier because your cervix has already done this a couple times. You know better then anyone except the doctor when the baby drops. Keep in mind babies can drop early and hang out there a while. My last baby dropped 3 weeks before he was born. Labor got faster with each baby so pay attention to the signs and go in if you think somethings going on. They will check you anytime at labor and delivery at the hospital if you have to. It's better to have false alarms then leave too late!! Good luck, maybe you'll have a christmas baby.

My son dropped at 30 weeks and I had him a little less than 3 week later. I think it is very different for everyone. I do believe it is possible and he could come earlier than expected. If nothing else go see your doctor or give him a call. I only have one child so I don't know about the difference between the two labors. But my mother in law was in labor with my husband for 6 hrs. and he was 2 weeks late and his younger brother she was in labor for 1 hr. and he was two weeks early. Hope it helps some.

Go to the doctor and check!! Its better to be safe than sorry!! My friend lost her baby because it dropped sooner than expected, and it was only like a day or two before. [[It was really sad]] I dont want you to go through that, even if you have the slightest suspicion, go see the doctor PLEASE! And tell him what you think! The worse they can do is tell you you were wrong. Yes, I think it is possible, every birth is not the same, this one could be different from the other two... you never know.

just because you last two pregnancies went over 40 weeks it dosent matter all pregnancies are different i would say make sure your bag is ready as he she could come any time specially if you think that your belly has dropped it could mean the baby has engaged so i say the baby will prob be on time or a little early gd luck xx
