Forcing Conan out? Has everyone forgotten that Conan and the execs forced Leno out? He had a proven track record as the most successful talk show, with consistently the best ratings, and for some reason, they wanted to give Conan his show. Conan failed. He couldn't maintain the ratings, and has neither the appearance nor the personality to succeed on the Tonight Show, isn't that obvious by now? To make room for Leno? It was Leno's show to begin with, which O'Brien stole from him. So many people are trying to paint Leno as the villain in this, but O'Brien stole Leno's show with the connivance of the NBC execs, who ignored the fact that they had a success with Leno. I consistently watched the Tonight Show when Leno was host. I will not watch it with Conan as host; I dislike him. And obviously there are a lot of people who feel the same as I do, or they wouldn't consider dumping Conan. Conan stole the show right from under Leno---let's make that clear. Leno himself made it perfectly clear that he was happy and wished to keep his show. The Tonight Show was a success with Leno, with Conan, it is a flop.
