I would call them a negaholic. This is someone who thinks the centre of the universe is them.
They probably think they are wonderful people with hearts of gold, but the thing is they are so negative they infect other people with their feelings and it spreads like a virus!

I'm going to say self-centered. Not necessarily selfish, just focused on themselves to the point that other people cease to have any significance.
