An airport services seven different airlines and nine different types of airplanes. In how many different ways can a person fly out of the airport! i think it is 63 but im not sure

If each of the seven airlines had all 9 types of airplanes, it would be 63. However, that is unlikely.

At the other end of possibilities, you could have 6 airlines, each with only one type of airplanes, each type different from the others, and a seventh company with 3 types, different from the other 6.

Therefore 9 ways.

Then there is the possible meaning of the question "how many different ways can a person fly out of the airport"?
One: in an airplane.

Yes 63 if you mean that each airline has 1 of each type of plane and that by going on a different plane and a different airline is a different way of flying out of the airport.

yep it's 63, because in order to find out how many possible outcomes there are you multiply 7 and nine and you get 63. congratzzzz
