But the bins are for household waste only. If it comes from the garden it is not household waste.....You really know that don't you...cough cough.
There should be a recycling center near to where you live and they take all kinds of stuff but it must be sorted before you go there and it is then put in the proper recycling bins. They also take garden rubbish.
Go on......be good and do the right thing. It's a bit of a chore but well worth it in the long run and we all have to do our bit. Be nice to the bin men, for without them we would be in a right mess.

What was the cough for then? I don't think we're getting the whole story. Also, what sort of garden? Our trash men sometimes don't take certain things, so they have to sit there for a whole week before we try and see if they will take it that time. It's like there's a standard for trash or something.

do not be so sensitive and no one deserves any abuse---if you let it get to you then just be a stronger person and realize that the dust bin men are already sick and worn out from a lifetime of handling al kinds of trash and the bacteria that unfortunately accompanies ............

Well next time you need to throw away your grass or bush cuttings put them in black bin liners so they cant see what your chucking, take it you wont be giving them a Xmas tip this year!

If you're talking about fecal matter, I don't think it's supposed to be put in the garbage! At least not so much that they can tell it's in there. Sanitary reasons, you know?
