I am wondering if for ugg boots you should really buy a size smaller. How small should the boots actually be on you when they're brand new? Thanks!

If you are buying NAME BRAND Ugg, yes.
I wear an 8 (US) and bought a 7 (US) Ugg - fits nicely. But in an off brand (EMU) I wear an 8.

Yes, I usually wear a 8-8 1/2 but in Uggs I wear a 7 so I would suggest getting a size smaller.

I but my ugg boots in a smaller size because you will find after a while your boots start to come looser and start to like tilt on a side. When i bought a 4 (im usually a 5) they lasted longer.
