Does anyone else feel that, while sex offenders are out there, that maybe society has gone a little over board with them? I mean you cant turn on the tv news any more with out hearing something about it. What about the ones what get out and try to actually abide by societies laws? why should they have to pay for the way a FEW ( yes few ) repeat offenders are? Does anyone else realize that sex crimes have the LOWEST risk of re-offending??

sex crimes are also serious, and should not be taken lightly. Raping or groping someone when they dont want it is a violation of their privacy. I am a man, but I think that to be raped is to lose someone and would definitely be devastating. Dont do it, and it wont be a problem. Respect yourself and respect others.

Chances are pretty good (1 in 3) that I'll get raped or assaulted some day. So, forgive me if I'm less than enthuasistic about going easy on rapists and offenders. And don't forget how they've been treated historically and even to this day! While ostracizing and harrassing them is never okay, committing such a vicious and violent crime is a million times worse than anything we could ever to them.
