I don't know why, but I use toothpaste (White colored) to get EVERYTHING out and it works EVERY time. I think it's the baking soda. Just wet the area, put on some tooth paste, give it a minute, rub it all in... and use a towel with hot water. Sometimes I have to scrub. I am a big fan of using toothpaste. I've gotten out ink, blood & wine with it.
